Water & Wastewater Design Engineer
Overview of Responsibilities:
As a Water and Wastewater Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive planning, design, and construction solutions for water and wastewater projects. Your responsibilities will include assessing and designing wastewater treatment facilities, as well as reviewing technical documents, master planning reports, and engineering studies. This position will report directly to the project manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and plan systems for the conveyance and treatment of water and wastewater.
- Identify potential project opportunities and engage actively in proposal development and interview processes.
- Prepare engineering documentation, technical reports, and planning analyses.
- Design infrastructure such as pipelines, pump stations, and lift stations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineering staff.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a related engineering field.
- A minimum of four years of experience in water and wastewater engineering.
- Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Expertise in AutoCAD and Civil3D software.
- Physical requirements include frequent sitting, moving, standing, talking, hearing, and occasional balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
