Job Title: Loan Closer

Join NewRez LLC as a Loan Closer and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth closing of mortgage loans. As a Loan Closer, you will be responsible for preparing loan packages according to state and federal regulations, ensuring that all necessary documents are in order, and working closely with the Underwriter and closing agent to ensure timely and accurate loan closings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare loan packages according to state and federal regulations
  • Review and approve the final balanced Closing Disclosure
  • Ensure loan package meets compliance guidelines and fix discrepancies as necessary
  • Generate and approve the Closing Package
  • Serve as liaison between NewRez and closing agent
  • Input and confirm data required to generate Closing Package
  • Complete work within established closing deadlines
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 4-year college degree preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years mortgage Closing, or Post-Closing experience is required
  • 1-2 years loan funding experience preferred
