**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Golf Shop Attendant at Oneida Golf and Country Club, managed by Troon International. As a Golf Shop Attendant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our members and guests, while assisting with the daily management of golf operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Assist the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Golf Professionals in the daily management of golf operations

• Assist with golfer check-in and fee collection, control and manage play, and reconcile daily tee sheets

• Assist in administering all point of sales application revisions and needs as it applies to green fee sales, merchandise sales, and member/guest billing

• Promote all club golf activities and assist with maintaining a clean, orderly, and well-stocked golf shop

• Assist with maintaining proper records and billing of storage and lockers for membership

• Assist golf professionals during tournaments and weekly games

• Monitor all members' scores, report handicapping to the USGA, and bill members

• Follow established opening and closing procedures and incorporate safe work practices in job performance

**Requirements:**

• Previous golf course and/or retail experience preferred

• High School Diploma required

• Some College or College Degree, or equivalent experience preferred

• Must be motivated to thrive in the golf industry and have excellent written and oral business communication skills

• Experienced in computer use, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher, and proficient in other applications

• Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills, with a self-motivated and service-focused attitude
