Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity at IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians

Bloomington, IN is a vibrant college town with a unique blend of charm and culture. IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians, part of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Indiana, is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join their growing team in Bloomington, IN.

Position Details:
  • Shift work; 9 hours at Bloomington Hospital or 12 hours at smaller area hospitals including Bedford, Paoli and Morgan hospitals
  • Schedule: Shifts vary month to month; typically 130 hours per month; days, evenings, nights
  • Community-based care with high acuity
  • Procedures performed include endotracheal intubation, chest tube placement, central line placement, and cardioversion
  • Academic opportunities will be available with this role for those fellowship-trained in Ultrasound
Qualifications:
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Emergency Medicine required
  • Fellowship Trained in Ultrasound required
  • 2024 Residents/Fellows and practicing physicians encouraged to apply
