We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our team at Vighter Medical Group in Fayetteville, NC.
Job Summary:The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to a patient population composed of Veterans and Retired Service members seeking care at and through the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough medical assessments, examinations, and evaluations of patients.
- Diagnose and treat a broad range of medical conditions, with an emphasis on preventive care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, ensuring continuity of care and effective management of chronic conditions.
- Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work, imaging, and EKGs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in compliance with Vighter and regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery.
- Provide referrals to specialists and coordinate follow-up care as necessary.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred.
- Unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in primary care or outpatient settings.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based medicine.
- Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
Outpatient clinic setting in Fayetteville, NC.
Monday through Friday schedule with occasional on-call duties.
Supportive team of healthcare professionals and administrative staff.
