POSITION SUMMARY
Respond promptly to inquiries from guests and collaborate with other departments. Identify and report maintenance issues in public areas or guest accommodations. Display caution signs as necessary. Communicate directly with other departments for urgent repairs. Fulfill guest requests and arrange furniture items in guest rooms as instructed.
Remove items from hallways and transport them to service areas, including debris, room service trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash placed near housekeeping carts.
Maintain, clean, and store cleaning equipment.
Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report any maintenance concerns, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and ensure proper storage of flammable materials.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; and express genuine appreciation to guests.
Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Collaborate with the team to achieve common goals. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing 55 pounds or less without assistance and over 55 pounds with assistance.
Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Navigate through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Ascend and descend a ladder. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout the work shift. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
