We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our team at The Laurels of Defiance. As an STNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our guests, working under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
Responsibilities- Care for Guests: Provide personal care to guests, including bathing, grooming, and toileting, as well as assist with eating and hydration.
- Monitor Vital Signs: Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Assist with Daily Living Activities: Help guests with daily living activities, such as dressing and using the bathroom.
- Report Changes: Observe guests' skin and report any changes to a licensed nurse, providing skin care as needed.
- Meet Guests' Needs: Meet guests' mental health and social service needs, providing emotional support and companionship.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Certification: STNA certification.
