Key Duties:

  • Lead the architecture and development of enterprise-grade applications utilizing the Java and Spring Boot framework.
  • Design and implement microservices-based architectures to ensure scalability, maintainability, and optimal performance.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to convert complex functional and technical requirements into comprehensive architecture and design.
  • Provide expertise in Angular to develop dynamic and responsive user interfaces for our applications.
  • Ensure adherence to code quality, best practices, and architectural integrity across all development teams.
  • Establish and uphold design and coding standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee the entire development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to encourage technical advancement.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in software architecture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in Java development.
  • Proven experience with Spring Boot and designing microservices architectures.
  • Strong front-end development capabilities with Angular and a thorough understanding of responsive web design principles.
  • Expertise in RESTful API design and development.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and ORM frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in commercial lending is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience with Agile practices and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA).
  • Prior experience in a leadership or architectural capacity.
