We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Obstetrics and Women's Health Department at CentraCare. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our experienced providers in delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Responsibilities- Provide patient-focused rooming for various clinic visits, including prenatal appointments, well exams, and general GYN appointments.
- Communicate results and medical information to patients and providers.
- Assist in ensuring the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with on-site X-ray, pharmacy, and laboratory services as needed.
- Perform medication refills, prior authorizations, and phone calls as required.
- Assist with in-office procedures and provide support to medical, advanced practice, and professional/technical nursing staff.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (LPN) or medical assistant program (CMA).
- Current licensure as a LPN in the State of Minnesota or certification as a CMA with one of the following organizations: AAMA, AMT, CCMA, NCCT, NHA, NRCMA, or NCMA.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card.
- Ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders, and medication orders.
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
- Hiring bonus of $2,500 for LPN and $2,000 for CMA.
- Relocation bonus of $5,000 available to eligible candidates.
