Job Summary:

Vimerse InfoTech Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Lead to coordinate and lead the testing efforts for the Medicaid Enterprise System Transformation initiative.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans, ensuring the quality and functionality of the application, and managing a team of testers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing objectives, success criteria, and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test strategies, and test cases to validate the functionality and performance of the application.
  • Coordinate the execution of multiple test phases, including functional user experience, regression, integrations, reports, and performance testing.
  • Identify, log, and manage defects through the testing lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Lead a team of testers, providing guidance on testing methodologies, best practices, and use of testing tools.
  • Coordinate the utilization of automated testing tools and scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Partner with Medicaid Enterprise module vendors and team leads to author cross-module test cases.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate testing-related risks.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Monitor and report on testing progress, including test execution metrics and defect status.

Requirements:

  • Working experience in a multi-module and multi-vendor environment.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing, including the use of testing tools.
  • Coordination of cross-functional testing.
  • Development of integrated master test plans.
  • Requirements traceability.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of testing in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medicaid / Healthcare experience.
  • Familiarity with Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) testing standards and framework.
  • State Government / Public Sector experience.
  • Project / Program Management Certification.
  • ISTQB Certified Tester - Advanced Level or equivalent certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • JIRA Configuration and Administration.
  • Facilitation.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience.
