About the Role

We are seeking a talented Test Automation Engineer Intern to join our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) software quality assurance team at Cox Communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Employee Life Cycle (ELC) test engineers on STLC process to learn test methodologies, agile concepts, and test automation tool TOSCA.
  • Create, update, and manage test automation scripts with the Lead Test Engineer.
  • Plan, create, and execute manual test activities in an Agile environment.
  • Use defect tracking tools to log, manage, resolve, and report on bugs/defects.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and story writing.
  • Collaborate with various teams across the HCM space on test automation.
Requirements
  • Graduate/Undergraduate junior or senior level student with a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related Engineering field degree.
  • Internship positions are located in Atlanta, GA; Cox does not provide a housing allowance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of basic SQL, QA Test Management Tools/qTest, databases.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Teams, SharePoint.
  • Manual Testing, API's, Data Validation, Test Automation tools.
  • Agile concepts.
