Overview:
  • Accountable for supporting the operation, diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of multifamily residential buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance apparatus for designated properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, replace, and repair HVAC systems while handling various refrigerants.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in diagnosing HVAC and refrigeration systems, including associated controls and motors.
  • Assist in the troubleshooting and repair of building infrastructure and installed systems, which may include packaging machinery, plumbing, kitchen appliances, roofing, drainage, and grounds maintenance equipment.
  • Perform cleaning, lubrication, and servicing of diverse pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, and electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
  • Complete all mandatory safety training promptly as designated by the organization.
  • Support the installation and modification of building systems and equipment.
  • Repair and replace building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and paint walls, piping, floors, and equipment.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and propose enhancements to maintenance operations and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Exhibit competent knowledge in the use and maintenance of tools and equipment utilized in facility and grounds upkeep.
  • Respond promptly to urgent situations and customer inquiries.
  • Conduct inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify unsafe or malfunctioning conditions and ensure preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems, including fire alarm systems, fire pumps, and related fire protection equipment.
  • Perform tasks such as soldering, welding, carpentry, and snow removal as required.
  • Adhere to all relevant codes, regulations, governmental agency requirements, and company directives regarding building operations while practicing safe work habits.
  • Utilize technology effectively, including smartphones, tablets, computers, web-based applications, and building automation systems.
  • Complete all required safety training as scheduled annually.
  • Work across multiple sites as necessary.
