Job Title: Lead Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Systems Engineer to join our team at Technology, Inc. in Aurora, CO, Arlington, VA, Huntsville, AL, or remote.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned systems engineer to lead the system engineering processes in support of product development. The successful candidate will have a strong background in requirements development, analysis, and product life cycle implementation of RF sensors in precision weapons or electronic warfare domains.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the system engineering processes in support of product development, including requirements generation, decomposition, traceability, verification, and validation.
  • Collaborate with Program Management and Technical Leadership to manage the systems engineering process throughout the development cycle.
  • Work with customers to generate, review, and approve required systems engineering artifacts.
  • Develop production-level requirements to ensure manufacturability and sustainability.
  • Perform systems analysis in support of requirements development and verification.
  • Consolidate and normalize systems engineering data and information from across a team with multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Support all phases of detailed system and subsystem development activities for embedded applications.
  • Lead by example to enforce systems engineering process and methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum BS in engineering discipline (i.e., electrical, mechanical, systems, etc.) with 8+ years of industry experience.
  • Experience with the systems engineering lifecycle in more than one project/product.
  • Experience in radar and/or electronic warfare product development.
  • Proficiency in systems engineering tools and modeling software (i.e., DOORS, Cameo, etc.).
  • U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a secret level DoD clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated technical leadership and subject matter expertise.
  • Experience performing system engineering functions within LRIP, EMD, and/or Production USG programs.
  • Experience using Product Lifecycle Management tools (i.e., Omnify, Agile, TeamCenter, etc.).
  • Experience applying agile development to systems engineering processes.
  • Experience developing requirements from undefined customer needs.
  • Experience as an individual technical contributor to a product component (i.e., circuit, assembly, software, etc.).
