About the Position

This is a full-time, regular, non-exempt position that requires working a rotating schedule, with every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. The successful candidate will provide basic care to patients, enabling them to meet their daily living needs, including assisting with personal and oral hygiene, care of clothing, room care, and special incontinent patients. The ideal candidate will also encourage proper nutrition and other assistance as needed through observation and documentation of patient outcomes in the Patient Care System.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to aggressive resident behavior with specific, trained techniques.
  • Observe and respond to residents in distress.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalency.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Previous experience with patients.
  • Ability to pass a law enforcement security clearance.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening test approved by the Division of Personnel Services.
