Job Summary:

The Transportation Specialist at Pine Run Village is responsible for safely and courteously transporting residents to activities and appointments. This role requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and previous transportation experience as a driver. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport residents in company vehicles to activities and appointments
  • Safely assist residents in and out of vehicles
  • Operate lift equipment necessary to load and unload wheelchairs
  • Assist maintenance department in maintaining vehicles
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
  • Recognize and report changes in resident's condition to appropriate team members
  • Provide excellent customer service in all interactions
  • Maintain a safe work environment and exhibit safe work practices
  • Interact cooperatively with residents, families, visitors and other team members
