Job Overview:

The DevOps Engineer plays a crucial role in managing our application infrastructure, developing, supporting, and validating our CI/CD pipeline, while also enhancing our production environment. Responsibilities may extend to application support, collaboration with internal clients, audit documentation, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and execute deployments to the production environment
  • Facilitate internal communication regarding application modifications
  • Maintain operational applications on servers
  • Implement automation for the CI/CD deployment pipeline
  • Optimize and structure the production system environment
  • Conduct system maintenance in collaboration with Development and IT teams
  • Monitor system performance for proactive issue resolution
  • Provide application support for services utilized internally
  • Research and develop resources to enhance workflow efficiency
  • Engage in projects and tasks as directed by senior management

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Technical troubleshooting capabilities
  • Experience with containerization technologies
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming is advantageous
  • 1-3 years of experience with SQL or similar database query languages preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience with Linux/Bash preferred
  • Experience in troubleshooting within a live production setting preferred
  • Familiarity with large datasets is preferred
  • Experience with high-volume, mission-critical applications
  • Proficiency in version control systems (GIT, CVS)
  • Ability to read Java/C# code
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
