About the RoleThe Registered Nurse Supervisor will support the Director of Nursing in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to achieve positive clinical outcomes and patient/family and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, guide, and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with Genesis policies and procedures, practice standards, and regulations.
- Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care, with an emphasis on limiting the use of overtime and agency personnel.
- Participate in staff mentorship, recruitment, new hire orientation, and recommend employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.
