Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train drivers to ensure safe and efficient delivery operations
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies
  • Coordinate the tracking of driver information, including license status, traffic tickets, and accidents
  • Ensure accurate completion of delivery and driver-related paperwork
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain records of maintenance and repairs
  • Collaborate with the Transportation Manager to minimize operating expenses and optimize delivery routes
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
  • 2-4 years of transportation or related experience, including knowledge of DOT and safety regulations
  • Experience in operation of computerized fleet management systems
  • 1-2 years Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) certified
