We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Lee's Summit Medical Center. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras and computers.
- Collaborate with doctors, medical physicists, nuclear pharmacists, nurses, and administrative staff to provide excellent patient care.
- Participate in performance improvement and quality improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Work within established policies and procedures, adhering to safety and infection control guidelines.
- Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine.
- ARRT NM certification or registry eligibility with completion of examination within 9 months of hire.
- Minimum of one year of hospital department experience in Nuclear Medicine.
- Ability to accurately complete sonography requisitions and operate nuclear medicine equipment.
