Commercial Service Master Technician

Job Summary:

The Commercial Service Master Tech is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional service to our commercial customers. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and emergency service calls to troubleshoot and repair commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and customers.
  • Conduct system testing and signal verification to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial security systems installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of local and national codes, as well as ADT Commercial's product offerings.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug screening.

Work Environment:

The Commercial Service Master Tech will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions and harsh work environments.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, twist, use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms, push, pull, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Use vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color.
  • Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
