Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a highly skilled Pulmonary Medicine Specialist to join its team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. This Level 1 Trauma Center is recognized for its excellence in various medical specialties, including Bariatric Surgery, Breast Imaging, and Sexual Assault Forensics. Our teams provide comprehensive care for nearly 213,000 outpatient visits, over 83,000 emergency room visits, and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Board certification/eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine

Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $214,670* (board eligible); $220,054* (board certified) based on a 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $331,657** (board eligible) and $337,579** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors.

  • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
  • Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
    • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
    • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
  • Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
