Program Overview

Responsibilities

The actuarial internship program has two primary goals: to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the actuarial field and to identify potential full-time talent. As an intern, you will be involved in a variety of actuarial research activities, including expense studies, lapse studies, rate management analysis, product pricing, process automation, and more. These projects will provide you with a hands-on experience of the actuarial profession and help you develop valuable skills.

Requirements
  • Successful track record in a four-year degree program in Math or Actuarial Science.
  • Proven project and people leadership skills, including developing strategies, motivating individuals, providing feedback, and driving results.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including listening and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to balance multiple projects and duties.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think creatively.
