About the Job

Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest seeks a skilled Pet Nuclear Medicine Tech to join its team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform all established nuclear medicine procedures, including calibration and quality checks. You will also interact with physicians to adjust diagnostic studies and programs. Additionally, you will manipulate raw data, review studies for correct positioning and overall quality, and perform decontamination procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all established nuclear medicine procedures, including calibration and quality checks
  • Interact with physicians to adjust diagnostic studies and programs
  • Manipulate raw data, review studies for correct positioning and overall quality
  • Perform decontamination procedures and maintain security of all hot and decay areas
  • Participate in on-call duties and/or work variable shifts to meet department needs

Requirements

  • Graduate from an Accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Certification by CNMT or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine licensure
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • Ability to perform Nuclear Medicine procedures following accepted standards and protocols
