Job Title: Security Shift Manager

Overview of the Job

Derby City Gaming, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Shift Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of employees and customers in a fast-paced gaming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize loss time injuries and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel to maintain order and resolve conflicts.
  • Evaluate and improve security processes to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on incidents, near misses, and other security-related matters.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a security or law enforcement role, preferably in a gaming or hospitality setting.
  • Ability to obtain a valid racing license (Note: this requirement may not be applicable to all locations).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

Working Conditions

The Security Shift Manager will work a rotating shift schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Derby City Gaming, LLC offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
