Facilities Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at United Utilities Supply, serving the rural electric market from Louisville, KY. This role involves project management coordination, maintenance of in-house machinery, and compliance documentation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify issues
- Assist in monitoring building equipment and systems for daily needs
- Collaborate with leadership, vendors, contractors, and colleagues to ensure safe working environments
- Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts and shrink wrap equipment
- Manage inventory of frequently used maintenance items and their distribution
- Support Security Manager in coordinating secure access
- Oversee company pool car fleet maintenance and scheduling
- Collaborate with Compliance Manager on housekeeping inspections and solutions for a safer workplace
- Support and cross-train in various areas for incident reporting
**Requirements:**
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems (electric, HVAC, plumbing) preferred
- Possess or obtain OSHA certification, OSHA 30-hour, and forklift certification
- 3 years of Facilities Maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to work after hours, weekends, or holidays in case of emergencies
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to travel between locations in Louisville and Frankfort as needed
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, frequently bend, walk, climb, push/pull, stand, or sit
- High school education or equivalent preferred
