**Job Summary**

We are seeking an AWS Certified Welding Inspector to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for inspecting bridge material (AWS D1.5) and ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Inspecting bridge material to ensure compliance with AWS D1.5 standards
• Conducting thorough and accurate inspections to identify any defects or issues
• Collaborating with our construction management team to ensure that all projects meet quality and safety standards
• Providing expert advice and guidance to our team members on welding inspection and quality control

**Requirements:**

• Valid CWI certification through the American Welding Society
• Demonstrated experience performing weld inspection to AWS D1.5 on a bridge project
• Currently located within a reasonable distance to Gary, IN
• Access and ability to operate a personal computer utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel, the internet, and email
• Valid driver's license
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Authorized to work in the United States

**Physical Requirements:**

• Physical activity includes: climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, grasping, talking, hearing, and standing for sustained periods of time
• Exerting up to 20 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently
• Visual acuity requirements include color and depth perception, and field of vision
