AWS Certified Welding Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Certified Welding Inspector to join our team at HRV Conformance Verification Associates, Inc.

The successful candidate will possess a valid CWI certification through the American Welding Society and have demonstrated experience performing weld inspection to AWS D1.5 on a bridge project.

• Perform weld inspections to AWS D1.5 on bridge projects
• Ensure compliance with AWS standards and regulations
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure high-quality welds
• Develop and implement quality control procedures

• Valid CWI certification through the American Welding Society
• Demonstrated experience performing weld inspection to AWS D1.5 on a bridge project
• Currently located within reasonable distance to Gary, IN
• Candidates within 100 miles of Gary will be given preference
• Access and ability to operate a personal computer utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel, the internet, and email
• Valid driver's license
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Authorized to work in the United States

• Climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, grasping, talking, hearing, and standing for sustained periods of time
• Exerting up to 20 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently
• Visual acuity requirements include color and depth perception, and field of vision
