Position Overview:

As a Senior Consultant, you will collaborate closely with contractors and government personnel to address client requirements and fulfill the outlined responsibilities. The Senior Consultant will engage directly with Process Owners and provide timely progress reports to document the advancement of deliverables. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Documenting and distributing meeting minutes for A2R Process Owner sessions
  2. Providing Weekly and Monthly Project Status Reports to the technical representative
  3. Preparing Trip/Travel Reports as necessary
  4. Supporting A2R stakeholders in the preparation and execution of annual audit walkthroughs
  5. Creating and submitting audit remediation packets related to A2R
  6. Assisting Assessable Units (AU) stakeholders in formulating, updating, and submitting Corrective Action Plans (CAP) to Audit PMO on a bi-monthly basis
  7. Coordinating client stakeholder responses to Notices of Findings & Recommendations (NFR)
  8. Helping AU stakeholders in comprehending and responding to Prepared-By-Client (PBC) requests within set deadlines
  9. Conducting any requested audit testing as directed by the client (e.g., beginning balance)
  10. Assisting the client in addressing periodic CFO fluctuation analyses
  11. Designing and delivering A2R-focused training sessions for stakeholders as requested by the client
  12. Developing and providing A2R process flowcharts, narratives, and testing procedures as required
  13. Researching, documenting, and submitting accounting white papers to support A2R stakeholders' historical or alternative valuation of equipment assets
  14. Delivering status reports and briefings to client leadership as needed

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • An active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance is required
  • Experience in acquisitions within the Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E) financial sector
  • Knowledge of audit readiness, internal controls, and OMB A-123 requirements
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with key stakeholders and process owners
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) federal financial regulations, standards, and processes
  • Certification in Accounting or Financial Management is desirable
