1 Resource Group is currently seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Service Technicians to join our dedicated team of professionals.

As a Heavy Equipment Service Technician, your primary responsibility will be to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of construction machinery, including but not limited to bulldozers, excavators, cranes, and loaders.

This role requires a candidate with a solid foundation in mechanical skills and a strong background in hydraulics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and rectify issues in heavy construction equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize electronic diagnostic tools effectively.
  • Interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately.
  • Identify, procure, and replace defective or worn components.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all repair and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to guarantee safe and efficient equipment operation.

Compensation: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to comprehend equipment manuals and blueprints.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in heavy equipment repair.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and AC/DC electrical systems.
  • Welding and rigging experience is advantageous.
  • Experience with various types of construction equipment, including Friction & Hydraulic Cranes, Winches, and Power Units, is beneficial.

Professionalism and a customer-oriented attitude are essential in this role.

Candidates must be physically capable of fulfilling job requirements, including lifting, climbing, and working in varying weather conditions.

Overtime may be necessary based on workload demands.

Applicants must possess their own basic tools, while larger equipment will be provided.

A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites are required.

All candidates must pass a Motor Vehicle Record check to qualify for company insurance.
