Job Overview

Industrial Inspection & Analysis is seeking a CAL-OSHA Safety Inspector to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our inspection services align with CAL-OSHA and ANSI regulations, as well as any additional standards set forth by clients.

Position Summary

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting our inspection operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards. Candidates must hold approval as a surveyor under Title 8, California Code of Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and troubleshooting on various types of aerial lifts, scissor lifts, and cranes.
  • Perform necessary inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment including trailers and aerial devices.
  • Interpret and understand operating manuals effectively.
  • Maintain a positive interface with clients and colleagues.
  • Document inspection findings accurately in reports.
  • Execute multiple inspections throughout the day on various equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must be an approved surveyor under Title 8, California Code of Regulations.
  • Experience in visual and operational inspections.
  • Knowledge of dielectric testing for fiberglass booms and hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with acoustic emission techniques.
  • Proficient in magnetic particle and dye penetrant testing for critical welds.
  • Experience with ultrasonic testing of critical components.
  • Ability to conduct stability load testing.
  • Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Effective communication skills with clients and team members.
  • Possession of a valid Driver License.
