Job Summary:
Lyon-Martin Health Services Inc is seeking a highly skilled Therapist to lead our Eating Disorder Program. As a specialist in queer, trans, and intersex (QTI) care, the successful candidate will have experience and a commitment to LBGTQIA+ community health care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental health/substance use disorders within individual client sessions.
- Focus case load on clients with eating disorders in active recovery/treatment.
- Develop and lead trainings for mental health clinicians on EDO diagnosis, treatment, and referral.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary EDO team to develop program policies & procedures, forms, clinical guidelines, etc.
- Provide crisis intervention, brief behavioral interventions, psychosocial assessments for gender affirming surgery, group psychotherapy, and clinical case management.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of social work or marriage & family therapy with a master's degree or a school of psychology with a PsyD. or PhD.
- California license as an LCSW, LMFT or PsyD.
- At least 5 years of experience providing therapy directly to clients with eating disorders.
- Culturally sensitive/humble and able to work with a diverse population.
