Role Overview:
As a Travel CTICU RN, your primary focus will be on delivering specialized care to patients experiencing critical cardiac and thoracic health issues.

Your duties will encompass the monitoring of critically ill patients, administering prescribed treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and monitor patients' cardiovascular and thoracic health in the CTICU
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed
  • Operate and maintain life-support systems and other medical apparatus
  • Work alongside physicians and healthcare professionals to formulate and execute care strategies
  • Keep comprehensive and precise patient documentation
  • Offer guidance and education to patients and their families
  • Uphold safety and infection control standards

Qualifications:
  • Valid RN license in Virginia
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiothoracic ICU environment
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strong analytical and assessment capabilities
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Openness to travel assignments
