Key Responsibilities:- Perform patient examinations, auscultation of heart and lung sounds, and determine normal/abnormal TPRs and QATS
- Communicate effectively with clients, obtaining medical histories and symptoms
- Conduct laboratory procedures, including hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
- Assist with diagnostic imaging and implement safety protocols for fellow staff members
- Support surgical procedures, preparing and maintaining aseptic environments for patient and staff safety
- Monitor anesthesia and perform endotracheal intubation
- Provide nursing care, including restraining patients, administering medications, and applying bandages
- Participate in dental prophylaxis and pharmacy management
- Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT)
- Flexible schedule, including weekend and holiday shifts
- Strong communication skills, good judgment, and ability to manage stressful situations
- Competitive pay range of $20.00-$25.00+/hour based on experience
