- Obtain accurate vital signs, medical histories, and note any changes in patient condition to veterinarians.
- Collect and prepare laboratory samples, such as fecal, urine, and ear cytologies.
- Care and maintain medical equipment, including laboratory machines, surgical packs, and anesthesia machines.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient updates and questions.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Flexible schedule, including weekend and holiday shifts.
- Knowledge of medical procedures and animal handling.
- Strong communication skills, good judgment, and ability to manage stressful situations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Pay range of $14.00-$17.00/hour based on experience.
