Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team at Samuel Staffing. As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and the total needs of the residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and the total needs of the residents.
  • Supervise the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care.
  • Assume responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Nursing Department and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.
  • Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required.
  • Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role required.
  • Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
