Position Overview:
The Senior Analytics Advisor plays a crucial role in the sales process, collaborating closely with the sales team to enhance analytic revenue among both current clients and potential new customers.
This position is primarily concentrated on the Discovery through Proof phases of the sales cycle. The Analytics Advisor is tasked with crafting the "value narrative" to optimize customer success.
The Senior Analytics Advisor is accountable for acquiring a comprehensive understanding of the clients' business challenges, identifying where Dun & Bradstreet's analytic solutions can deliver value, proposing the most suitable solution(s) to address customer needs, and developing a persuasive business case to secure the analytics sales opportunity.
The scope of responsibility for this role encompasses a portfolio valued at $8-10M across Field/Strategic accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver significant customer value and sustained year-over-year sales growth by marketing Dun & Bradstreet's analytic solutions to clients and prospects.
- Generate new analytic business through demand generation, opportunity assessment, solution identification, and value enablement.
- Proactively identify, target, and cultivate new business opportunities within a select number of existing and new accounts, focusing on up-selling and cross-selling.
- Engage in business-oriented discussions to pinpoint stakeholders, business processes, KPIs, and critical success factors related to opportunities.
- Establish robust relationships with C-level and senior executives of clients and prospects across all business functions to enhance the value and impact of our analytic solutions.
- Meet ambitious sales targets within the rapidly expanding analytics marketplace by leveraging use cases, best practices, and application knowledge to conduct thorough ROI analyses for clients.
- Participate in Account Planning, Business Reviews, and Quarterly Solution Reviews as necessary.
- Act as a customer advocate to influence innovation roadmaps and customer support initiatives within high-tech industry verticals.
- Promote Dun & Bradstreet's analytic solutions to customers, internal stakeholders, and the broader marketplace.
- Engage in industry and company-sponsored events and panels to further establish thought leadership in this domain.
Required Experience:
- Proven expertise and knowledge in the business application of analytics across various domains (risk, marketing, supply chain, etc.).
- Strong analytical capabilities, including model usage and validation, data analysis, and strategy formulation.
- Familiarity with R, SPSS, PL/SQL, Hadoop, Python, and visualization tools is preferred.
- 7+ years of successful sales experience in a consultative, solution-oriented, team-based selling environment with demonstrated customer-facing experience, ideally in selling analytic solutions to address business challenges.
- 7+ years of proven success in driving new and existing large-scale engagements in complex environments.
- Ability to uncover new opportunities with existing clients, many of whom already utilize multiple D&B solutions.
- Proficient in managing and reporting on opportunities throughout various stages of the sales pipeline.

Education and Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred (Data Science degree is a plus).
- Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically within the United States.
