About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team as a Customer Equipment Solutions Specialist. As a key member of our Service Department, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on customer-owned equipment in a safe and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of customer equipment and tools.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed, including electronic documentation of work orders.
  • Upsell and demonstrate complex equipment to customers, highlighting its features and benefits.
  • Travel to customer job sites for repair and maintenance of customer-owned equipment, ensuring that service vehicles are maintained in a clean and professional manner.
  • Assist with the pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • 1-2 years of experience repairing and maintaining vehicles and equipment, or trade school graduate.
  • Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment and basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
