Facilities Maintenance Management is in search of a dedicated professional to take on the role of HVAC Service Technician. Our company specializes in maintenance and construction services for both residential and commercial clients across the nation. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of five years of experience, have reliable transportation, and be able to successfully pass a drug screening. A company vehicle will be provided if all driving criteria are satisfied. Additional benefits include paid time off and holidays. While tools are not mandatory, they are considered a significant advantage.


Job Responsibilities:

The technician will be responsible for:

  • Conducting preventive maintenance, necessary repairs, and minor adjustments on HVAC systems in both commercial and residential settings. A solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems is essential for ensuring optimal performance.
  • Performing routine general maintenance on HVAC systems, which includes lubrication, adjustments, cleaning, and replacement of consumable parts (such as filters and indicator lights), along with periodic equipment testing.
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance logs and records, with familiarity in preventative maintenance and work order management software.
  • Executing all assigned tasks to ensure the safety of building occupants and the continuous operation of systems.
  • Installing new HVAC systems in various properties, ensuring their proper operation and functionality.
  • Installing and performing maintenance on generators as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with commercial HVAC equipment, including Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Variable Air Volume systems (VAVs).
  • Proficiency in HVAC diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation.
  • Ability to utilize technology such as iPads for work order management and communication.
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to work overtime and travel on short notice for extended periods.
  • Desire to learn and share knowledge with others.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma.
  • HVAC Certification.
  • EPA Section 608 Certifications: Types 1, 2, and 3 (Type 4 is preferred but not mandatory).
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while adhering to core values of Quality, Teamwork, Pride, Passion, and Integrity.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including text and email.
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift between 20-50 pounds.
  • Capability to regularly climb stairs and ladders.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures.
  • Must pass a Fit for Duty Screening.
