We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hospice Team Physician Subcontractor to join our team at Interim HealthCare. As a key member of our interdisciplinary group, you will play a vital role in providing medical direction and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Medical Direction: Provide medical direction and oversight to our hospice patients, ensuring continuity of care and management of patient pain and symptoms.
- IDG Participation: Actively participate in Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) meetings, including the development and review of patient care plans.
- Patient Care: Provide medical care and support to patients, including pain and symptom management, and act as the primary medical resource to the IDG.
- Liaison: Serve as a liaison to community physicians and complete other assignments as requested.
- Education: Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree.
- License: Current license in good standing in the state(s) where the hospice provides care.
- Certification: Board certified in a related specialty, preferred.
- Experience: Hospice/palliative experience, preferred.
- Competitive Pay: $175 per hour.
