Mental Health Court Community Program Coordinator

New Horizons is a leading mental health and addiction recovery provider seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Court Community Program Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our community outreach program, you will play a vital role in connecting individuals with mental health and substance abuse services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess clients referred to the 19th Judicial Circuit Mental Health Court Project
- Communicate with clients, McCabe Connections Center Team, Sheriff's office, Public Defender, States Attorney, Judge, and Department of Children and Families SAMH offices to ensure clients receive appropriate referrals
- Act as primary Mental Health Court contact for New Horizons clients participating in Indian River Mental Health Court
- Coordinate with other New Horizons staff to assist clients within Mental Health Court to access needed services
- Participate in committees, meetings, clinical training, staff development, and community relation activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college with a major in counseling, social work, psychology, nursing, rehabilitation, special education, health education, or a related human services field
- One year of experience in a related field
