Position Overview:
This role involves overseeing the field service operations within the designated region, providing both on-site and remote routine and emergency services, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
To succeed in this position, an individual must effectively manage the following essential duties:
1. Ensure compliance with established environmental and safety regulations, managing all job-related safety activities and decisions.
2. Supervise and guide direct reports in their daily responsibilities, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
3. Oversee service contracts and direct support services to meet customer needs.
4. Manage daily field operations to fulfill customer requirements effectively.
5. Estimate and provide quotes for customer jobs, with or without assistance.
6. Monitor resource utilization, driving efficiency and productivity to minimize downtime and issues.
7. Conduct performance evaluations for team members.
8. Uphold adherence to company policies and procedures.
9. Ensure that machinery, equipment, and facilities are maintained for optimal performance.
10. Schedule workforce hours to support company contracts, managing overtime as necessary.
11. Foster positive employee relations and implement disciplinary measures when needed.
12. Promote efficient use of materials, improve methods, and eliminate wasteful practices within the department.
13. Perform additional duties as required.
14. Conduct responsibilities ethically, modeling compliance and ethical behavior for others. Encourage open, transparent, and respectful communication.
15. Cultivate a culture of safety, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service within the organization.
16. Ensure all health, safety, environmental, and human resources standards are met to comply with relevant regulations.
17. Lead the business function with an entrepreneurial spirit, driving innovation and best practices for efficiency.
Coach, mentor, train, and develop employees to ensure the long-term sustainability of the business and effective succession planning. Identify or source necessary training to maintain work quality.

Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments within the functional area to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
To perform this role successfully, an individual must meet the following qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED.
2. A minimum of 8 years of experience in the natural gas compression industry, with in-depth knowledge of natural gas engines and compressor frames.
3. Preferred certifications include Caterpillar and Ariel.
4. Previous experience in customer-facing management roles is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SAP, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), and Adobe, with the ability to learn additional software as needed.
Demonstrated ability to manage field service operations and lead direct reports to enhance efficiency, production quality, and volume. Capable of applying principles and techniques to achieve objectives.
Ability to plan and oversee the overhaul, repair, and maintenance of engines, compressors, pumps, turbines, and motors.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to establish and maintain ongoing relationships with customers and external stakeholders to foster business development.
Ability to address and resolve issues professionally and tactfully.
Ability to manage both internal and external challenges, facilitating successful outcomes.
Perform additional functions as required to meet customer and company needs.
