Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with customers in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Prepare vessels for handover by meticulously cleaning both the interior and exterior, ensuring all surfaces are spotless. Attention to detail is paramount, as there are numerous areas that require thorough cleaning.
  • Maintain stock boats in a clean and presentable state for customer evaluations.
  • Support the Service Department by cleaning service vessels as needed.
  • Organize the boats on the premises using forklifts and other necessary vehicles as directed by management.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Utilize appropriate protective equipment at all times.
  • Notify supervisors when a vessel requires further attention or repairs.
  • Approach tasks with a mindset of efficiency, minimizing waste while ensuring the use of necessary supplies.
  • Keep the workspace tidy, clean, and organized consistently.
  • Assist with general yard maintenance as instructed.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained, reporting any needs for repair or replacement to supervisors.
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness of the yard, including picking up litter and properly storing hoses after each shift.
  • Clean facilities and service vehicles as requested.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of boat exhibitions as directed, including transporting boats, arranging them at the event, and maintaining cleanliness for optimal visibility.
  • Participate in all required meetings.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
