This is a full-time, permanent position with flexible scheduling options for both day and night shifts. This role comes with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned RN to apply their skills and expertise in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' condition and progress, and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding conditions and care needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Document all patient information accurately and completely in patient medical records.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain current knowledge of best practices in nursing care.
- A current and valid RN Texas license.
- A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or medical center setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in patient care, with a strong focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex medical information clearly to patients and their families.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
- BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain these certifications within 6 months of hire.
