Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate purchase orders for evaluation and input.
  • Compile inventory reports and assess stock levels for restocking.
  • Maintain and update inventory files.
  • Support sales personnel with pricing and product availability inquiries.
  • Coordinate backorder reconciliations with suppliers.
  • Gather product specifications from manufacturers or through product evaluations.
  • Update and input product details into the database, addressing discrepancies as needed.
  • Develop a rolling three-month forecast for inventory management.
  • Input promotional incentives into the system for tracking and prepare documentation for vendor reimbursements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure timely compilation of product information for print and online materials, and ensure pricing updates in the system. Participate in trade shows and manufacturer visits as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in purchasing or analytical roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a solid understanding of Excel functionalities.
