Position Overview

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to become a vital part of our healthcare team. This full-time role is essential for delivering high-quality anesthesia care across multiple facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in a collaborative anesthesia care team consisting of 33 anesthesiologists and 90 CRNAs.
  • Engage in a diverse range of cases at various campuses, including a Level 1 trauma center and community hospitals.
  • Provide anesthesia services in operating rooms, endoscopy suites, catheterization labs, labor and delivery, MRI, and interventional radiology.
  • Manage a substantial case load, with approximately 17,500 cases handled annually at the trauma center.
  • Work flexible shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours, with opportunities for additional shifts as needed.
  • Optional participation in the call team to maintain a favorable work-life balance.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Attractive sign-on bonus of $20,000 and relocation assistance available.
  • Annual allowance of $3,500 for continuing medical education (CME).
  • Health insurance coverage begins on the first day of employment.
  • Comprehensive malpractice insurance, including tail coverage.
  • Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
