Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Attorney to join our team at Sacramento Regional Transit. As a Senior Attorney, you will provide legal advice, support, and representation for the organization in complex litigation and other legal matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and support to the organization on complex litigation matters
  • Develop and implement litigation guidelines, procedures, and forms
  • Supervise professional, paraprofessional, and support staff

  • Prepare and present legal opinions and recommendations to management
Requirements
  • Valid California State Bar License
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in public agency law and/or civil litigation
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Attorney III or comparable position with Sacramento Regional Transit District
