Key Responsibilities
  • Providing post-acute care as a Practical Nursing Specialist
  • Monitoring residents' physical and mental health and recording vital signs
  • Conducting resident intakes and documenting health concerns and medical histories
  • Reviewing residents' medical records and charts
  • Administering and verifying medications accurately
  • Assisting in maintaining adequate medical supplies
  • Contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for residents
  • Supporting medical staff with IV setups, vaccinations, and phlebotomy
  • Ensuring adherence to care plans for residents
  • Assisting with the orientation and training of medical personnel
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current state license to practice as a Practical Nursing Specialist
  • Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing educational program
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • At least 6 months of experience in a related role
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
