Psychiatric Technician

As a Psychiatric Technician with the Department of Developmental Services - Canyon Springs Community State Facility, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to implement procedures and techniques that promote the well-being and rehabilitation of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide basic and general behavioral training to residents
- Implement procedures and techniques that promote the well-being and rehabilitation of residents
- Work cooperatively with others to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
- Maintain consistent, regular, and reliable attendance
- Float to other worksites as needed
As a Psychiatric Technician, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. You will be exposed to communicable diseases, blood-borne pathogens, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinical nursing environment.
Requirements:- Pass a drug screening prior to being hired
- Clear a background investigation prior to being hired
- Obtain medical clearance prior to being hired
- Hold a Psychiatric Technician License
