Parexel Early Phase Clinical Unit

We are dedicated to supporting the development of innovative new medicines that improve public health, outcomes, and save lives. Our Early Phase Clinical Unit is at the forefront of testing novel treatments in humans, and we are seeking a skilled Clinical Research Nurse to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the efficient and compliant clinical operation of the Early Phase Clinical Unit (EPCU) by adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and all work processes.
  • Assume responsibility for patient care and study conduct assignments, ensuring that all study laboratory and medical tests are completed and eligibility requirements are met.
  • Monitor and record patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments, reporting to the appropriate physician as needed.
  • Collect and prepare data, organizing and entering it into case report forms and databases as required.
  • Perform or arrange for phlebotomy, urine collection, sample preparation, storage, and shipment of samples, drug dispensing, and follows GCP quality study documentation.
  • Act as participant advocate in the conduct of clinical studies.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years working in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • BSN preferred or relevant work experience.
  • Active Registered Nurse License in the state of California.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • ACLS certification required within 6 months of start date.

  • Base Pay Range: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour.
  • Actual salaries may vary within the range based on several factors including education, training, experience, professional achievement, and location.
