Job Summary

This position is responsible for obtaining diagnostic cardiac ultrasound images in three modes: M mode, color flow Doppler, and two-dimensional mode. The individual will follow the imaging protocol recommended by IACEL and assist the physician with obtaining images during Transesophageal Echos.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain diagnostic cardiac ultrasound images in three modes
  • Follow imaging protocol recommended by IACEL
  • Assist physician with obtaining images during Transesophageal Echos
  • Prioritize and organize patient flow to ensure best utilization of time
  • Demonstrate effective safety practices
  • Establish and maintain good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and Medical Staff
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Associate Degree or Certificate
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer
